Building a podcast brand

Creating a podcast is about more than audio, this course will walk you through wider podcast assets and why you need them.
In this follow up to our Introduction to Podcasting workshop we discus how you can create wider podcast assets to achieve the maximum possible impact and engagement for your project. Building upon your podcast plan from our previous workshop and other examples of academic podcasts we will design podcast artwork, transcripts and create example social media content like audiograms to help get your project off the ground.
This half-day workshop is perfect for podcasters who want to take their ideas to the next level by focusing on the visual and promotional aspects of their podcast. With practical exercises and expert guidance, you’ll leave with a clear roadmap to establish a memorable and impactful podcast brand using tools like Canva, Headliner and AI led platforms like Descript and ElevenLabs.
It is important to us at Research Podcasts that all participants leave our sessions with practical skills and have made progress towards their end goal of successfully launching a podcast series. With this aim in mind on completion of this workshop participants will have planned and/or designed:
- Podcast artwork and colour scheme
- Example social media content
- A transcript
This is a half day workshop that can be facilitated online or in person. Please note, if you choose in person delivery we would require you to book a room with presenting facilities and cover our travel costs (we are based in Essex).
If you prefer in person delivery we would suggest combining this course with either the podcast editing or presenting advanced workshops as a more efficient use of your resources.
