In this follow up to our Introduction to Podcasting workshop we discus how you can create a successful podcast brand to achieve the maximum possible impact and engagement for your project. Building upon your podcast plan from our previous workshop and other examples of academic podcasts we will design podcast artwork, outline a marketing plan and create example content to help get your project off the ground.
It is important to us at Research Podcasts that all participants leave our sessions with practical skills and have made progress towards their end goal of successfully launching a podcast series. With this aim in mind on completion of this workshop participants will have planned and/or designed:
- Podcast artwork and colour scheme
- Example social media content
- Marketing plan
This is a half day workshop that can be facilitated online or in person. Please note, if you choose in person delivery we would require you to book a room with presenting facilities and cover our travel costs (we are based in Essex).
If you prefer in person delivery we would suggest combining this course with either the podcast editing or presenting advanced workshops as a more efficient use of your resources.
In the summer term we will be hosting this course online for participants from any of our introductory courses to join.
